What an event!
DB Expo 2026 once again proved why it’s the largest Paintless Dent Removal show in Europe—and this year, I had the honour of being invited as one of the judges for the PDR competition.
Held annually in Lariofiere Exhibition Centre, this two-day event brings together the very best in the industry, from world-class technicians to leading tool manufacturers and detailing specialists.
A Hub for the Global PDR Industry
With over 100 exhibitors, the show floor was packed with everything related to modern vehicle repair and enhancement. From cutting-edge PDR tooling to smart repair solutions and high-end detailing products, it’s a one-stop destination for professionals looking to stay ahead of the game.
But while the exhibition itself is impressive, the real highlight of DB Expo is the competition.
The PDR Tournament – World-Class Skill on Display
The PDR tournament is the heart of the event—and it’s anything but small.
- 56 elite technicians from around the world competed in the solo category
- 48 additional competitors entered the tag team competition
Each participant brought an incredible level of skill, precision, and experience. The standard of repairs was exceptionally high, making it clear why this competition is regarded as one of the toughest in the industry.
Behind the Scenes as a Judge
This year, I was proud to be selected as one of seven judges, tasked with evaluating each repair.
Our role was to carefully inspect every panel, analysing the quality, finish, and technique behind each repair. With such a high level of workmanship across the board, narrowing it down wasn’t easy. I
n fact, it took hours of detailed judging to select the top eight finalists. From there, we determined the top three repairs, with awards presented to those who truly stood out.
A True Honour
Being asked to judge at Europe’s biggest PDR event is something I’m incredibly proud of. It’s a real recognition within the industry, and an experience I don’t take lightly.
I’m already looking forward to returning next year to do it all again.
