    Bright vehicle took a booting 🥾 🫣

    Take a look at this super Yellow Audi A1 and you’ll notice the front wing has a great big dent!
    .
    A victim of vandalism resulted in a foot shaped dent, such a shame on a lovely vehicle.
    .
    Luckily the paint was not damaged so this was a prime candidate for Paintless Dent Removal.
    .
    Our customer didn’t want to have this repainted, or a replacement panel. The repair was completed within 1 working day and looked amazing for our customer to drive off home 😊

    A PROPER SQUASHED Front Wing 🫣
    .
    When I first saw images of this damage I thought, yes not a problem that will repair very nice…..
    That was until I’d seen it in person and thought ”oh” that’s BAD!
    .
    Not one to say no as you probably know already! I said yes to the job, to repair this with Paintless Dent Removal (PDR)
    .
    Surprisingly the paint wasn’t damaged at all and that was amazing as the impact was the vehicles weight pressing the panel into a Bollard…..
    .
    The damage was around 400mm top to bottom, had a very tough Crown at the top of the damage holding so much bunched up steel. There was also bodyline and lip edge damage too, lastly the panel gap to the door had really been effected over 10mm wider than factory specs!
    .
    I started the repair by glueing Keco LTS brackets to the door and wing, the idea was to tighten these blue brackets and this would pull the wing tight against the door while simultaneously starting to push the dent out from behind
    .
    This worked great but the top crowned area gave me so much trouble!! I ended up removing the drivers door to gain more access from another direction.
    .
    Once I’d stabilised that area I needed to reshape the bodyline and bottom lip, once this had been accomplished a good polish was in order!
    .
    My customer was super happy with the finished results as was I!

    I Heard a “BANG” and my HEART SANK…
    .
    The above and “Porsche” sounds horrendous and expensive…
    My recent customer was driving his new Porsche Carrera T down a road when a passing tractor forced him to the side of the road, and the wheel clipped a piece of wood. This catapulted into the side of the car and created a crease dent in the aluminium flared arch.
    Absolutely distraught with the dent on his new vehicle he wanted it fixing asap
    .
    The vehicle had a full PPF meaning it was coated in a clear film which can be expensive to apply and/or replace.
    .
    The repair was inspected and the price accepted to carry out a Paintless Dent Repair on the panel, leaving the PPF intact.
    The wheel had to come off and arch liner exposing a rubber grommet, this gave great access to the rear of the Aluminium panel and the dent was massaged out within 2 hours.
    .
    Wheel re torqued to 160nm and my customer was over the moon.
    .
    Special thanks to Richard at DentMaster York for recommending the chap to us.
